Meet Major Shine

Mike Barry created Major Shine Window Cleaning in 2016 after a 30 year successful career in the British Army, where he rose through the ranks to Major. After retiring from the service, Mike decided to focus on putting hard work into forming his own business in Window Cleaning. His hard work, dedication and attention to detail mean that you will never be disappointed.

Q: How often should I get my windows cleaned?

A: There is no set amount of time between which you should get your windows cleaned, however the longer you leave them, the dirtier they will become. Generally speaking, our window cleaning rounds will be done on a monthly - 6 week basis to keep your windows sparkling.

Q: How do I pay?

A: Payment options are catered to suit you. Bank transfer, PayPal, cash or cheque are popular choices.

Q: Do you clean the inside of windows?

A: Yes, if you would like the insides of your windows clean, I am more than happy to do this.

Q: How does Reach & Wash work?

A: Reach & Wash is a fantastic way to clean your windows and it also ensures the safety of your window cleaner. Reach & Wash allows windows to be cleaned from the safety of the ground using long reaching, telescopic poles. A soft bristled brush scrubs the dirt off the glass, while jets of pure water rinse the window. As the pure water has no impurities, it dries to a spot-free finish leaving no marks.
